INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

康复中心’s “Phase Program” with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) provides an intensive outpatient program for treatment of all substance use disorders. Phase I and Phase II are programs that together provide professional support for 6 months of the recovery process.  Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) can be defined as the use of FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of Substance Use Disorders. Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat these disorders, and for some people struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery.

• Intensive 门诊 Treatment (Phase 1): Consecutive sessions of intense treatment and education for the person suffering from Substance Use Disorders. Group sessions are held from 4–7pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and cover co-occurring addiction and recovery, 技能习得, family concerns and whole person wellness. • 门诊 & Continuing Therapy Groups (Phase 2): Continuing therapy aftercare groups meet weekly for 90 minutes. These sessions are designed to offer continued treatment and support during early recovery, as well as address specific issues related to sobriety and a healthy lifestyle.

One-on-one therapy is available and usually occurs on a weekly basis. The patient and therapist together create an individualized treatment plan for meeting the client’s treatment goals. Significant others or those affected may be invited into counseling sessions with the approval of the client.

DRIVER EDUCATION, EVALUATION, AND TREATMENT

The Cottage Program is an approved provider of both evaluation and treatment for individuals involved in the State of Maine Driver Education Evaluation Program (DEEP). Those charged with driving under the influence. Cottage Program evaluation and treatment may also be used to meet requirements of New Hampshire’s Impaired Driver Intervention Program. Clients referred by Maine DEEP or New Hampshire’s IDIP take part in an assessment process with a trained counselor, to determine the client’s treatment needs. Recommendations are made for a treatment plan through which a client may meet the requirements for driver’s license restoration.

This group of YH providers will be able to prescribe anti-craving medications to patients to aid in the treatment of substance use disorders.
